Sony Vaio Laptop - spares & repairs - Had this Vaio pcg - k195hp for a couple of years now, a couple of weeks ago the screen started to gain some yellow lines and then went black, i stripped it down and everything seemed fine, i took it to pc world and im told its the graphics card, i came home and stripped it again as i was sure it was something loose inside however doing it i have damaged the plastic strip cable that goes to the power switch from the motherboard, i cant seem to get it back on as the blue sticker has come off one end, im sure these are availible to purchase and a graphics card. Everything powered on fine before i damaged the plastic power cable, sometimes it would last 45 minutes before the screen would have the lines and then go black, so that tells me the graphics chip hasnt gone altogether and maybe could be fixed without having to buy a new one. 40GB IDE HD, i have wiped this clean so no OS 512MB RAM Intel processor 3.2GHz CD/DVD Wireless All keys but alot are faded Power supply included Has some light marks, and has a small crack just by the left hinge corner.
