2 x HP Proliant ML110 servers set up with 2 x Hauppage 500 dual port cards (total collection = 8 x DVB/T transponders simultaneously) plus 1 x dual port DVB/s2 card. Both units fitted with Intel 40GB Solid State Drives and running Linux Ubuntu set up to collect all Freeview channels and ability for Freesat as well.
Both servers used for 6 month IPTV testing delivering mpeg2 streams to mpeg4 transcoder for playout...
